OUR MISSION
Our mission at MobiMed Plus is to provide quality phlebotomy services in a comfortable, familiar, and engaging environment. No need to wait in an office/lab, take time off from work/school, or arrange transportation; We bring the lab to you. We make the appropriate assessment and approach to get blood samples without harming our patients' satisfaction and safety. We offer expert knowledge, encouragement, and superior customer service.

What We Offer

Phlebotomy and Concierge services provide in-home laboratory services. Phlebotomists are nationally certified and insured.Doctor's orders, no insurance, no transportation, busy schedule... No problem, we work with you.

CPR and OSHA courses are taught by Certified American Heart Association Instructors. We offer individual and group training at competitive rates. We are mobile; you choose your location.

Additional services include Employee In-service Training, Exposure Control Plan Consultations, Life Insurance Examinations.

MEET THE OWNER

LaKisha Redmond,
RMA/CCMA, AHI, PBT (ASCP), CPI
​
LaKisha Redmond originates from Gulfport, Mississippi. She is a double Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Phlebotomist and Certified Allied Health Instructor .Her medical journey began right out of high school in August 1997. LaKisha graduated with honors in Medical Assisting from Education America, now Remmington College, Ft Worth Campus. At that time certification was not a competitive title, so with times changing and students were being certified at the program end, LaKisha found that certification was necessary; So she obtained various certifications. Through AMT, she earned a title of Registered Medical Assistant and from NHA, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. With advancement in career, LaKisha also obtained a certification from AMT, earning a certification in Allied Health Instructor, Certified Phlebotomist through ASCP, and Certified Phlebotomy Instructor through NPA.

Her healthcare experience includes working in pediatrics. internal medicine, family practice, and disability clinics. She has also worked as an Instructor at local technical colleges and was promoted to Medical Assistant Program Director. She has worked in various medical settings, learning from each one. LaKisha takes pride in her craft, which illuminates through her quality care of patients.

In 2019, LaKisha took a leap of faith and launched MobiMed Plus, LLC. She serves the MS Gulf Coast, but will travel.
